The Lip Blush Procedure
Consultation
Your treatment begins with a consultation where we discuss your goals, desired colour and overall look. This ensures the result complements your skin tone and facial features.
Mapping & Colour Selection
The lips are carefully mapped and balanced to ensure symmetry. Pigment colours are selected to suit your natural lip tone and the result you want to achieve.
Lip Blush Tattoo Treatment
We will use a machine to gently deposit pigment into the lips using fine needles. Numbing products are used during the procedure to ensure comfort throughout the treatment.
Healing
Lips will initially appear brighter immediately after treatment before softening as they heal. The colour gradually settles into a natural tone over the following weeks.
A perfecting touch-up session is normally required 6-12 weeks after to refine the colour and ensure the best long-term results.
Lip Blush Results
Once healed, lip blush creates a soft, natural tint that enhances your lips without looking like heavy makeup.
Benefits include:
• More defined lips
• Improved colour and tone
• A fresher, more youthful appearance
• Reduced need for lipstick or lip liner
• Long-lasting results
Most lip blush treatments last 1–3 years, depending on lifestyle, skin type and aftercare.

FAQs
Explore our most frequently asked questions. And the answers to them.
Does lip blush hurt?
A numbing product is applied before and during the treatment to ensure the procedure is comfortable. Most clients describe the sensation as mild.
How long does lip blush last?
Lip blush typically lasts 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure.
How long does healing take?
Lips tend t heal pretty fast. The scabbing usually comes off within 5–7 days, but you may have the feeling of chapped lips for up to two weeks.
Will my lips look like l have lipstick on?
No. Lip blush techniques focus on soft, natural enhancement, not strong lipstick colour. No matter what colour you choose, it will heal to look like a lip stain rather than a lipstick.
Do I need a touch-up session?
Yes. A second session is usually required to perfect the colour and ensure the treatment heals evenly.
Do you do lip liner only?
No, we don't think lip liner looks very natural when tattooed, so we dont offer just liner.
If I get cold sores can I get lip blushing?
Yes, if you get cold sores, you can still get lip blushing. However, getting the treatment may cause an outbreak. It is recommended to take aciclovir as a means to prevent it, although this is not a 100% guaruntee that it will prevent it.
My lips are un-even. Can lip tattooing help?
Sometimes. Although lip tattooing can help even out the colour lost within the vermillion border (lip line), we can't tattoo outside of it. Remember, lip tattoos will heal under the skin. When you overline your lips with makeup, it sits on top.
